Liberal MP Don Bell speaking with to all of the grade fives on Friday from 11:30-12:30. We ask that on Friday, you arrive in your P.E. kit, but bring #1 dress to change into before Mr. Bell's presentation. We were outside waiting for the bus in the cold. And "The bus ditched us." Ms. Hawes called the bus company and they arrived at Morven. We were waiting and waiting and then it started raining! Within ten minutes the bus arrived! We sang our cheer. Heres how it goes. "Brrr, it's cold in here , there must be some Cavs in the atmosphere!" When we arrived at Southridge we missed our first soccer game. And then we won our first game!!! HOORAY! The next game was tough and we won 1 to 0!!! Our last game was the toughest. We scored one then they got it back. And they shot one then we shot one! So it ended out in a tie. We had a great time! GO CAVS!

Join me this Sunday for the National Terry Fox Run!

This weekend is the official weekend when all of Canada comes together for the Terry Fox run. Terry Fox is a true Canadian Hero and we can all learn a lot from his dedication and dream for every Canadian to donate one dollar to cancer research.

As a school, we will also be doing a run around the campus, but if you are interested, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Gretzinger with her class 5G are going to be heading to West Van to participate in the run. It is not a race, but a fun run and we are going to complete the 2km run together!
