A note from Mr. Hatch

A few Vancouver Whitecap fans have contacted me to remind me that the mighty Whitecaps are in the league final vs Puerto Rico this Sunday. These Whitecap supporters have of course suggested that we follow up Thursday’s “Cheer On Canucks Day’ with a Friday:

CHEER ON THE WHITECAPS DAY!

Please let your students know that, if they have a Whitecaps jersey or t-shirt, they are welcome to wear it over their uniform shirt this Friday.

GO WHITECAPS GO!!!

This is a very, very busy week - so please check the blog regular for the updates and news.

  • There has been a change to Wednesday's schedule with Craig Kielburger. His presentation has been bumped back 30 minutes and we have done our best to accommodate this change. Here is a letter from the Grade 5 Team about the change.
Dear Grade 5 Parents:

There has been a scheduling change to the Kielburger Round Square event at Morven this
Wednesday. The event will now end at 3:30pm. The Grade 5s will still be bussed back to
Wentworth and will arrive at Wentworth at approximately 3:55pm.

Wentworth students who normally take the after school shuttle to Morven will be kept at
Morven (and therefore not get on the return bus to Wentworth) in order to catch the
3:35pm bus home. These Gr 5 students who may have younger siblings that take the shuttle
from Wentworth to Morven will meet up with their sibling out front at Morven.

Younger Wentworth siblings (those who usually meet up with their Grade 5 sibling after
school in the lobby) will be sent up to Daycare until the Grade 5s return to Wentworth at
3:55pm. Parents, please go to Daycare to sign out and pick up your younger child.
