Tomorrow Alina won't be at school because she is going to BC Place, where the spiritiual leader of the Ismailis will address over 30,000 people. We really enjoyed her presentation about what will happen tomorrow and why it is important to her and her family.

We had lots of questions for Alina, she did a great job of answering them all. Here are some of our questions:
- Is he the spiritual leader?
- Are you supposed to bring anything?
- What happens during the day?
- How many people will come?
- Have you seen/met him before?
- Why do you sit on the floor?
- What food is in the snack back?
Alina shows us the mehndi (henna) on her hands. This was done to celebrate this special occasion, and is often a part of wedding ceremonies as well.
