There are only 14 school days left before March Break (and 15 school weeks until the end of grade 5 - aaah!) and they are JAM PACKED! Please make note of all of the upcoming events. The more organized you are, the more relaxed the next few weeks will be! :)

February 17 - Ms. Murphy away at UBC swim meet all day
February 19 - In-class judging for speeches 11:00-12:30
February 19 - Early dismissal (1:55) for Parent-Teacher interviews (by request only!)
February 20 - Jump Rope for Heart (bring pledge forms on the day)
February 23 - Grade 5 Public Speaking semi-finals
February 23 - Problem Solving Test
February 24 - Girls B-ball play day (all day)
February 25 - Junior School Speech Celebration (a.m.), Watching Lucky Stiff at Morven (p.m.)
February 26 & Pink Shirt Day (anti-bullying day). Ms. Murphy away
February 27 - Ms. Murphy away
February 27 - Vancouver Opera (in-school visit)
March 2 - Poetry Test
March 3 - All classes to see Grade 4 Musical
March 4 - Class Photo Day, Respiratory & Digestive Systems Test
March 6 - Rodeo Day, Last day of classes before March Break

Homework:

• Share our new spelling program with your parents
• Work on Spelling homework
• Have your parents sign your spelling test
  
• Complete your science page about the digestive system
• Practice your speech
• Problem Solving - due Monday

• I am away at a swim meet all day tomorrow
  
• Wear your PE kit and bring your uniform
• Jump Rope for Heart pledges are due on Friday
